This week in a nutshell…

MUSIC
Well done to everyone for their performances at assembly this past term. Rooms 5 & 6 did a fantastic job on Friday playing guitar and singing.

This is very promising as we are about to perform at our school concert!

Prep Literacy Awards
More students from Room 4 received literacy awards on Friday at assembly.

Special congratulations to Skyla who reached her 100 nights of reading, and big cheers to EJ and Aria for reading for 75 nights! Well done!

Bravo also to Amelia for completing her pink word list and EJ for completing his orange word list!

Footy Colours and Fun Food Day

Many sports were supported on Friday for our Footy Colours’ Day. We had Rugby League with Melbourne Storm and Rabbitohs amongst the cheers! Some students and staff represented other sports like Netball and Ice Hockey. Nearly all AFL teams had students and staff wearing their colours, and the best team Heyfield Football and Netball club was there in numbers!

Well done to Boston and Ryder who won the kicking competition and to Maggie and Indi H for winning the netball one!

Thank you very much to the parents and staff who helped organising, cooking and serving the hotdogs for our Fun Food Day, at lunchtime. Remember that this coming week, lunch orders will be on Wednesday!
