Message from Bartlett

Well done to the keyboard groups for their performance today at assembly. Next week, the guitar groups will be performing on Friday 20th June! See you then!

New Defibrillator

A huge thank you to the Timber Festival Committee for their donation so we could have a AED machine placed at school. This is a defibrillator that everyone can use when needed. It is not locked so anyone in the community can access it, 24 hours. I have added a map of where in town, other 24-hour access defibrillators are. Thank you to Kim Marchesi for organising this purchase through Jack, from ActFastFirstAid.

A snapshot around the school…

Wednesday Activities

The new rotation of activities has started and students chose from Cooking, Dance, Singing, Hands-on activities, Gardening, Lego Master, Laurina Lodge, Mindful drawing. The first dish, in cooking, was chocolate rum balls and it looked delish. The gardening group used the compost mix to plant the seeds they had been growing. The dance group learnt to do the worm, with Miss Barclay modelling the move for them. I wonder if this will be one of the dance moves for concert!

Dress-up Day - Royalty

What a fun day it was! There were many important figures at school today, with Queen Elizabeth Ann Schmidt, the Kind Tide Davidson, King Deklan and King Kong hanging out with the Queen Mother VicRhonda! Princess Lacey found a crown, but it was returned safely to the rightful owner.

Donut Day

Thank you so much to the Parents and Friends club for organising the donuts, especially Michelle Dinsdale, Karen Pratt, Megan and Michelle Stone. Megan made some gluten free donuts for staff at lunchtime and there wasn’t much leftovers. Today’s Fun Food Day was a success again with so many chocolatey faces, hands and so much sugar! Charlie was covered, from head to toe! Look at his smile! No doubt he enjoyed his donut!

Thank you very much to the Heyfield Bakery for doing all the hard work and delivering it too. You are absolutely fantastic.

Lost children

We had two chidren here who look lost and said they didn’t really like the idea of Mrs Jones adopting them. They also said Mum will be mortified if I was to put this in the newsletter!!! Well, let’s see!
