What happened this week?
Week 7 Term 3 2026
This week in a nutshell…
MUSIC
Well done to everyone for their performances at assembly. It was fantastic!
Next week, we will have the chance to hear Rooms 1 and 2, then Rooms 7 and 8 again!
ART
Look at these colourful paper Windsock! I wonder if there will be some at our Art Show in December!
Public Speaking Competition
The theme for the 3/4 students, this year, was to describe a place people should visit. Angus chose to talk about Darwin and Huxley chose Glenmaggie. They both did a brilliant job trying to convince others and they were confident and clear when speaking in front of their audience.
Congratulations to Angus and Huxley
Book Week Dress-Up Parade
Thank you to all parents who helped students creating their costumes for our parade. It was very fun and entertaining. Jacko demonstrated how to crack the whip. All students told us which book or movie character they got dressed as.
A big thank you to Miss Schmidt and the school captains for this new way of presenting this year’s winners and for organising the parade. We will do it again next year!! More photos will be sent to all parents via Compass.
And then we had a fun disco outside in our costumes at lunchtime!
