Thank you to many people for this past term!

• Thank you to Parents and Friends with the Brekkie Club, reading with students, helping in the library, organising Fun Food days, attending school council meetings, helping during sports days… and more. You do so much and we appreciate you very much.

• Thank you to Kurt and Ann Pritchett for looking after the school grounds and always trying to make it safe and looking nice and clean. Kurt, a few weeks ago, mowed the lawns because the rain had made them grow so fast and they were very high. All you do is always very appreciated too.

• I know it is part of our jobs, however I wanted to thank Bill for aiming to keep our playgrounds and buildings safe and clean too. You do a lot behind the scenes, and like for Ann and Kurt, we don’t always get to thank you. So, thank you very much for everything.

• Same goes for Megan Stone, who relentlessly tries to make every day a bit fun at school, and comes up with great ideas like the clinkers challenge or the staff trivia. You and Rhonda mainly look after students’ wellbeing, and I can guarantee you: staff and parents notice. Thank you both for always looking out for everyone.

• This past term was a little stressful for me and I could not have done it without everyone, and especially Jaimee Jones and Bronwyn Joyce. Jaimee took on the role of replacing me while I was away, supported by Bron, and the whole staff. She looked after her class, added to the complexity of being an acting principal too. Bronwyn is doing a fantastic job and I could not imagine not having her at school! It will be hard to say goodbye when she leaves.

  Thank you all for your constant support. I feel very lucky.
