What happened this week?
MUSIC
Good work to Rooms 1 and 2 for their performance today at assembly. You can all watch the recording on our Facebook page.
Next week, we will have the chance to see all our instrumental music students in the bands, during the concert and the choir will be performing a song too! I hope you all have your tickets!
Lions Club Public Speaking Competition
Well done to all our students who bravely competed in the public speaking competition against students from surrounding schools. It was not easy and there were many people in the audience.
They have grown much confidence since the first time they said their speech and did very well on the night.
Good work to Angus Elliott, Autumn Butcher, Maisie Pratt-Turner and Walker Cassidy who represented our school for the 3/4s and to Aurora Tatt, Darcey Vanderland and Brock Horspool who stood up for the 5/6s.
You can all be very proud.
A snapshot around the school…
RUOK? Day
Yesterday was a day to learn about how to start a conversation by asking others ‘if they are ok’. Miss Schmidt and Junior School Councillors organised a bracelet making activity for lunch to promote friendliness. Many students created very original bracelets together.
Footy Colours Day
What a fun day today was! We started with our annual parade with students give a high five to each other, while singing their favourite footy songs. We even had a soccer chant for our only Arsenal fan!
The day continued with the Kicking Competition!
Kicking Competition
Well done to the winners of the Kicking Competition! Georgia Phillips and Ivar Smith for the Junior unit, Ahri Dunn and Nate Ashley for the Senior unit and Mr Davidson for the staff!
Thank you to Miss Schmidt and the Junior School Councillors for organising such a fun event.
Fun Food Day
None of this kicking could have taken place without energy food like hot dogs!
Thank you to all parents who helped organising, cooking and serving the hot dogs and juices today! We are very grateful to have you! It was a definite success!
