What happened this week?

Message from Bartlett

Great performances from Rooms 5 and 6 today at assembly. The keyboard groups will be performing on Friday 13th June, at assembly. See you then!

THANK YOU!

We are very grateful to have received a donation from Crackerjack Heyfield Lawn Bowls, delivered by Mr and Mrs Kelly! This $400 cheque will go towards sporting equipment, requested by our Junior School Councillors.

Wednesday Activities

Our Heyfield Cubs visited the Laurina Lodge again, on Wednesday, and sang more songs, played with the balloons and puppets. It might not seem like much, but this creates opportunities for physical activities some of the residents truly enjoy.

The Hands-on learning group with Bill designed, built and painted more memorabilia that visitors at the RV park can take with them, as a souvenir.

Our cooking group made rum balls (without the rum, of course).

Next week, we will have the Life Ed van coming to our school, with Healthy Harrold, the giraffe. We will have rotations of activities starting again in week 8 for the rest of the term.

Maths continues with 3/4s

This time, they are designing a poster to explain the toy they created with blocks. This entails showing skills in spatial awareness and drawing the designs, as part of learning about space, perimeter and area. We even have the representation of a mini French flag! Thanks Deklan!

Lost Property

Miss Schmidt was able to return six jumpers to one student this week because they were all labelled! What a great find and I can guarantee the parent was very happy too!

Remember to label yoru child’s clothing!

DRESS UP DAY!!

Remember our next theme is Royalty! Let’s see what you can find as dress ups!
