Fantastic work from Room 4! What a great job they did, for their first performance, at assembly. Rooms 5 and 6 will be performing next week. We will start early, at 2:15pm. See you then!

A snapshot around the school…
Wednesday Activities
We saw some impressive jumps during Athletics, on Wednesday. I am certain we will have more students getting better and better, by the time we have our Athletics Day. The craft group made some Juggling balls with balloons and flour. In board games, one group is creating their own ‘Who’s who?’, while others are playing chess or trying to figure out puzzles. The cooking group left a delicious smell of cookies in the staffroom and the gardening group watered, weeded and monitored the seeds they planted a couple of weeks ago!
Simultaneous Storytime
On Wednesday, our whole took part in the National Simultaneous Storytime event. Some activities, in classrooms, were based on the book. The examples here are of the artworks, students created, using their imaginations and relating it to the message from the author. The book is The Truck Cat.
Maths continues with 3/4s
Still in the context of learning about area and perimeter, students measured the area and perimeter of the netball and basketball courts, this week.
School Art
You would have heard of ‘Street Art’?! Well, now you have School Art! I think we should create our own style and brand and promote it! Some great work there, while the sun was still shining. We will have to create new ones, after this beautiful rain.
Winter’s Sports
What a day to play sports! But the warning was in the title, it definitely is Winter!
Thank you to all students for participating in their chosen sport, with a positive spirit. Mostly, thank you to all staff and parents who helped run today! You are amazing!
