What happened this week?
This week in a nutshell…
MUSIC
The guitar group will be the first 2026 performance at next week’s assembly (Friday 6th March), so we will start a little earlier at 2:20pm.
Leadership team communication
Transition leaders: Children will start seeing our transition leaders wearing the pink high vis in the yard at recess and lunchtime. Their role is to help all students to find friends to play with.
Environmental leaders: Remember to put your fruit and vegetable scraps in the bin. These leaders will empty them every Wednesday and Friday.
Lunchtime activity leaders: An activity is organised for each day and please check the board near the toilet, above the sink for the timetable.
Computer Monitors: Remember to shut down the computers properly and plug them in. Please do not plug the cord in the headphone port.
Library Monitors: Remember to bring a library bag to carry the library books to school and home. There will be a new Book Club soon.
Junior School Councillors: 20th March is the next casual clothes day and the theme is ‘Neon’.
Swimming Program
Well done to all senior students for braving the everchanging Victorian weather this past week! Luckily Miss Schmidt got some smiley snaps, and it looked nice and sunny on that day.
The last session, which should have been the PJ assessment day, was cancelled to the rain and lightnings. We should be able to organise a catch-up session next week. We will let you know as soon as we have a new date.
