Week 4 Term 3 2026
This week in a nutshell…
ART
Students have been learning to use different techniques in Art. Plaster and glue for their bowl, donuts, ice-cream and Uluru artwork.
Wednesday activities
The gardening group made paper last week and made some more this week. Now, we wait for it to dry.
The hands-on learning group completed very different artefacts, from painting houses or Disney characters, or creating a frame with cars.
The Lego group certainly showed some great creative skills too when creating their work!
Athletics
Well done to everyone who participated in the Athletics and congratulations to all students who received a ribbon. Again, apologies for the presentation being rushed.
Students going through the next stage are:
Zoe, Ryder M, Deklan, Maggie, Callum, Aurora, Jorjah, Malachi, Noah, Lilly, Heath, Nate, Sharlee, Lewis, Charlotte F, Will S, Kapree, Ryder B, Ivar, Jack M, Bella.
Our relay teams will be: Charlotte F, Zoe, Sharlee and Jorjah for 9/10 y.o. girls. Ryder M, Ivar, Boston, Lewis for 9/10 y.o. boys. Maggie, Autumn, Charlotte K, Piper or Tess for the 11 y.o. girls. Will S, Will C, Heath, jack M for the 11 y.o. boys. Lastly, Callum, Nate, Noah, Aurora for 12/13 y.o. boys.
Good luck and congratulations to you all. The next carnival will be in Sale on 1st Sept. (TBC)
Concert
You can tell we are getting closer to the concert date when props are starting to pop up here and there! Thank you to Bill and Megan for spending so much time preparing them.
The tickets will go on sale closer to the date and notes about costumes will be sent by teachers.
Save the date: Thursday 17th September at 1pm and 6:30pm!
Principal Day
Thank you very much to all students, staff and parents for their kind and beautiful messages on Friday. It was a busy and fun day.
“It takes a village to raise a child.” is an African proverb and I wholeheartedly believe it to be true. I could never do this job alone. To you all, thank you and Happy Leadership Day.
