This week in a nutshell…

Leadership team for 2026

Congratulations to all our students on receiving their leaders’ badge. They will certainly do a fantastic job guiding our students.

Such a Special Tuesday

Last Tuesday started with our Walking School Bus who joined our parents club for breakfast who had prepared yummy pancakes for everyone. Thank you to you all who could make it to the special morning in the classrooms too. Thank you to all parents and staff who organised this special event.

Swimming Carnival 2026

The senior school had a fantastic day at the Heyfield Primary School swimming carnival. I would like to thank all the parents and staff that help on the day. A big thanks to Mr Fasoli for organising it. It was wonderful to see all students participate with enthusiasm and support their teammates throughout the day. The winning schoolhouse was Thorpe. Our age group champions were: 12/13 Girls – Aurora Tatt, 12/13 Boys – Caleb Darby, 11 Girls – Maggie Smith, 11 Boys – Jack Molphy, 9/10 Girls – Jorjah Sparrow, and 9/10 Boys – Ivar Smith. Congratulations to everyone involved on a great day!

Dress-up Day

‘Anything-but-a-bag-day’ was the theme for our first dress-up day of the year and it looked like much fun. Well done to everyone who joined in. I can see from the photos that you all had some very creative ideas! The Junior School Councillors had their first meeting of the year and have fantastic ideas put forward. I look forward to meeting with them in the next few weeks.

Timber Festival

I watched on the Facebook Live the parade and was very excited to see such a fantastic display from our school. Thank you to Bill for organising the props again this year, Tom Lord for driving the red truck, Angela Reynolds, Rani Darby, Bec Lewis, Rhonda Stuart and Megan Stone for marching with our students and all parents and students who supported the Timber Festival this year again.
