Supporting our community

You can support our community in many different ways:

  • Huge THANK YOU to the Heyfield IGA for their donations of Easter eggs for our raffle. They have currently great specials on chocolates and Easter eggs, and even more next week! (Starting at $4.50!!)

  • Maffra Secondary College: Information evening will be on Monday 16th March.

  • Newry Hall: Watch the movie Babe, for free!

  • Heyfield Junior Football: Training sessions are starting this coming Wednesday (11th March).

  • Heyfield Community Garden: Working Bee on Saturday 28th March from 9:30am. Everyone is welcome to come along and give us a hand! Contact Cayla Dowsett, Velleda Thomas, or Brenton Dinsdale for more information.

  • A Path to Follow: Kirstie Edwards and her team at A Path To Follow has been working with a consultancy group through The Sixth Child. The support they provide to children and youth struggling with mental health challenges is exceptional. There are often times when it is difficult to find the right resources for students in need, and their services could be highly beneficial. Please contact them if you think your child could benefit too.

  • Mountain Bike Riding: The Heyfield Adventure Hub is running a MTB Skills Sessions on Sunday 19th April. These sessions are designed to help kids and adults build confidence, improve bike handling skills and develop safe riding techniques in a fun and supportive environment.

  • Anglicare: Do not hesitate to get in contact if you need support.

  • State of Mind - Richard Dalziel: CTRL:ALT:CONNECT is a social inclusion program that will be running again this year in March. This program continues to be a great fit for young people who benefit from structured social connection, guided group gameplay, and a supportive, inclusive environment. It’s suitable for neurodiverse youth, those seeking to build social confidence, and anyone who would enjoy connecting with peers while developing real‑world skills.

  • Badminton Winter Competition
