You can support our community in many different ways:
Children's Book Council of Australia 80th Birthday Celebrations: The event, at the Traralgon Library and completely free, will be on the 29th of September and will include an author talk, activities, badge making, cake and treat bags. All children welcome - mainly aimed at primary age.
Heyfield/Nambrok Tennis School Holiday Program: Nambrok Tennis Club / Heyfield Tennis Club & Gippsland Tennis Coaching
School Holiday Tennis Clinic Is back! Our clubs have teamed up with our coach Fletcher and the team at Gippsland Tennis Coaching to offer a 3 day tennis Coaching Clinic at Nambrok and Heyfield! Looking for a fun and active way to spend the school holidays? Come join us! Perfect for all ages and abilities!
When: 29th of September - 2nd of October 2025 - Enrol in one day or all 3 days, your choice. Guaranteed fun for all! Times between: 9.00am - 3pm at both venues on all days of the clinic - Cost: $30 per session - payable before the clinic. What to bring: Your own racquet (or borrow one from us!), Drink bottle, Hat, Sunscreen
Fletcher will be on hand to teach new skills, improve your game, and make sure everyone has a great time – whether you're a beginner or a seasoned player!
This is the ideal way to keep the kids active, engaged, and learning during the school holidays, all while having heaps of fun on the court. Private lessons after the coaching clinic are available, reach out if you would like more information. Sign up now!

Timberline General Store Photo Competition: Entries close end of September. Get around it!
Centrelink Support: Support for grandparents and non-parents caring for children. KCV (Kinship Carers Victoria) have come to realise many carers do not know that they may be eligible for Centrelink benefits in addition to the financial support they receive from their state. It is with this in mind that we reissue this book outlining Centrelink benefits you may be able to apply for. Please take the time to look at it and contact the advisors on 1800 245 965.
